Our team
Der Vorstand setzt sich aus der 1. Vorsitzenden Miracle Amadi, dem 2. Vorsitzenden Claus Wotruba und dem Kassenwart Allan Bach zusammen. Kassenprüfer ist Markus Bauer. Ein weiterer sehr wichtiger Unterstützer und Berater ist Prof. Martin Schubert. Der ehrenamtlich arbeitende Vorstand trifft sich in der Regel alle zwei bis vier Wochen, um das Vorgehen des deutschen Vereins abzustimmen.
The board’s duties are to lead and oversee the association. It also makes decisions, sets goals, and solves problems. Additionally, it carries out tasks that go beyond the work of the volunteer and employed staff.
The auditor examines the board’s financial management after the end of each fiscal year. Financial accounting is handled by the accounting firm Anja Schlechtendahl.
The general assembly of members ensures that the board acts in accordance with the association’s purpose, and it formally approves (entlastet) the board and the auditor each year, provided there are no irregularities.
